MEETING- MA005 Initiatives with Technology

Technology can be used to demonstrate (teacher teaches), or student practices, or student teaches ( presents)

Question: What resources are available for MA005 that are FREE and available 24/7? -
Answer: SUMMIT MATH IMP

Question: If I am I am not very proficient with technology how can I use it to improve results with MA005?
Answer: Assign homework from the Online MA005 Syllabus and assign "optional-extra credit interactives" All from qccmath.webhop.org

Question: How can I use technology to show my best math lessons, if I am NOT proficient with technology?
Answer: Contact Dan Stein and he will schedule a trial using Jing ( as demonstrated in this meeting )

Question: What resources does an instructor have if they conclude that a student in a non-remedial course, does not fully understand concepts ( fractions, reducing to lowest terms, decimals and percents
